DUBLIN METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COURTS (SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS) ACT, 1961 AND COURTS SERVICE ACT, 1998.

DETERMINATION OF THE CLASS OR CLASSES OF BUSINESS TO BE TRANSACTED IN PLACES APPOINTED BY THE COURTS SERVICE UNDER SECTION 40 OF THE (SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS) ACT, 1961 AND SECTION 29 OF THE COURTS SERVICE ACT, 1998 FOR THE TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS OF THE COURT IN THE ABOVE DISTRICT AND THE DAYS AND HOURS AT WHICH SUCH CLASS OR CLASSES OF BUSINESS SHALL BE TRANSACTED IN THE SEVERAL PLACES SO APPOINTED.  

I, Judge Paul Kelly, President of the District Court, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 42 of the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act, 1961, (No. 39 of 1961) do hereby determine that during the Summer Recess, 2025. (1st August to 31st August 2025 inclusive).

COURT NO. 1, CRIMINAL COURTS OF JUSTICE, PARKGATE STREET, DUBLIN 8
shall sit for the transaction of Criminal and Summary business each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

COURT NO. 2, CRIMINAL COURTS OF JUSTICE, PARKGATE STREET, DUBLIN 8
shall sit for the transaction of Criminal and Summary business each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

COURT NO. 3, CRIMINAL COURTS OF JUSTICE, PARKGATE STREET, DUBLIN 8
shall sit for the transaction of Criminal and Summary business each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

shall sit for the transaction of Family Law Business each Monday (excluding Monday 4th), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

COURT NO. 46, CHANCERY STREET, DUBLIN 7.
shall sit for the transaction of Child Care Business each Monday (excluding Monday 4th), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

THE COURTHOUSE AT CLOVERHILL, CLOVERHILL ROAD, DUBLIN 22.
shall sit for the transaction of Criminal Business each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday commencing at 10.00 a.m.

COURT 55, SMITHFIELD, DUBLIN 7
shall sit for the transaction of Juvenile Business each Monday, Wednesday and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m.

COURT 56, SMITHFIELD, DUBLIN 7
shall sit for the transaction of Data Retention Business each Monday (excluding Monday 4th), Wednesday, and Friday commencing at 10.30 a.m.

COURT 23, FOUR COURTS, DUBLIN 7
shall sit for the transaction of Civil Business each Tuesday and Thursday commencing at 10.30 a.m.

Nothing herein shall be deemed to limit or restrict the powers conferred on Judges by section 27 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953, or by rules of court.
